Another fighter has been cut from the UFC.
This time, it’s featherweight Bobby Moffett; The Illinois native confirmed his release from the promotion through his social media feed. Moffett states that his career is at a stalemate currently, but doesn’t blame the UFC for his failures inside the octagon. Check out his full statement:
The 29-year-old came into the promotion thanks to Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series, as Moffett defeated Jacob Kilburn to earn a contract with the UFC.
The featherweight started off the promotion very promising by scoring a submission victory over Chas Skelly; however, that impressive win was followed by two straight losses to Bryce Mitchell and Enrique Barzola. Moffett leaves the promotion with a record of 14 wins and 5 losses.
