Jon Jones is ready for his next opponent. Taking to social media, the UFC light heavyweight champion teased a possible fight with former heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic.

“I don’t think you guys are ready to witness Stipe Miocic and I,” Jones wrote on Twitter. “Would July give you all enough time?”

Though he didn't name a specific event or date, it can be assumed that he's targeting the UFC 239 pay-per-view card on July 6 in Las Vegas.

Jones is coming off an impressive win over Anthony Smith at UFC 235 in which he successfully defended his belt with relative ease. Though the match went the full distance, all three judges scored the fight 48-44 in favor of Jones, who was docked two points and almost disqualified for an illegal knee.

Stipe Miocic, meanwhile, hasn't fought since losing the heavyweight belt to Daniel Cormier back in July 2018 at UFC 226.
