205 LIVE Isn't Expected To Return To The WWE Network Until January

With Superstars from 205 Live now competing on NXT on a regular basis, the future of the show remains unclear. Now, it's been confirmed that WWE won't be taping any additional episodes of that until 2020. While SmackDown is set to air live from Brooklyn on Friday and the from Detroit next week, no new episodes of 205 Live are set to take place after them.

Instead, WWE has scheduled "Best of" shows highlighting the Cruiserweight division which will air in their place. There's no word on why new matches aren't being taped but this could have something to do with the company folding 205 Live into NXT.

During last week's NXT, Angel Garza defeated Rush for the title and the NXT creative team is now booking the division. Rumours have been swirling for months now that the plan is to cancel 205 Live but there's been no update on that for a while so time will tell if this has anything to do with that.

As always, we'll keep you guys updated if we learn more!
