A Big Name Has Been Ruled Out As Brock Lesnar's WRESTLEMANIA Opponent

WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will compete in this month's Royal Rumble match and it's thought that's being done to set up his WrestleMania opponent. Now, a new report rules out at least one big name...

As of right now, we have no idea who Brock Lesnar will face at WrestleMania. However, that speculation about him potentially squaring off with WWE Hall of Famer Edge is seemingly just that because Dave Meltzer claims there are no plans for them to go one on one for the title at the Show of Shows.

"Now that I remember certain things that I’ve been told, it couldn’t be Edge. I was told flat out Edge was not wrestling Brock Lesnar, not at the Royal Rumble and not at WrestleMania."

Now that this has been revealed, it's damn near impossible to figure out who Lesnar will defend the WWE Championship against this April. Drew McIntyre certainly seems like a strong possibility, especially as it appears WWE has started turning him face.

Tyson Fury and Cain Velasquez have been ruled out as possibilities but Keith Lee or Matt Riddle are definitely names fans would be excited to see take Lesnar on on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
