A Full Hour Of Roman Reigns Didn't Do Much To Help RAW's Ratings On Monday

This Monday's episode of RAW put the focus on Roman Reigns for almost the entire first hour and it probably won't surprise you to learn that that didn't ultimately translate to particularly strong ratings.

This Monday's episode of RAW drew a total of 2,668,000 viewers. That's a drop from last week's 2,741,000 viewers, not a significant dip by any means but one which could very well bother WWE.

Hour one averaged 2,792,000 viewers, hour two drew 2,767,000 viewers, and the final hour of the show averaged 2,447,000 viewers. This was the lowest viewed episode of the year and perhaps no great surprise as it kicked off with almost a full hour of Roman Reigns as he confronted Stephanie McMahon, battled Kevin Owens, and then teamed up with Seth Rollins to take on him and Jinder Mahal.

The main event pitted Finn Balor against Braun Strowman in an enjoyable bout which didn't really do anything to build to Money in the Bank. When SmackDown Live moves to Fox, ratings will become more important than ever so expect WWE to start focusing on the Superstars able to move the need rather than those they want to push like Reigns. What did you think of this Monday's episode of RAW?
