WWE has confirmed the first match for tonight's episode of RAW and it looks set to be a good one. While man fans expected this to take place at TLC itself, we now know that former United States Champion AJ Styles will finally square off with Randy Orton in singles action.

Vince McMahon was reportedly the one who decided the match should happen at RAW rather than TLC and it comes after weeks of confrontations between the two men which saw Orton cost Styles his title in a match with Rey Mysterio.

It's going to be a busy night for RAW Superstars because WWE is planning to also tape next week's edition of the show after tonight's live broadcast goes off the air. That airs right before Christmas and if past experience is anything to go by, it will probably be more filler than anything else.

Either way, we'll have a recap of both shows for you right here later tonight!
