In order to promote a WWE Live event which tool place in Corbin, Kentucky yesterday, WWE started pushing for the city to be renamed "King Corbin" in order to honour the heel wrestler. Well, believe it or not, it actually ended up happening...for one day only!

Local news stations picked up on WWE's push to rename the city and the company clearly made good use of the attention to bring more attention to its non-televised live events.

As ou can see below, Corbin issued a proclamation from its mayor to confirm that for January 12th, it would be known as "King Corbin" instead. WWE is bound to mention this on SmackDown and it's something else the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal winner can now brag about during his feud with Roman Reigns!
