It looks like Vince McMahon is planning to establish another top babyface star at WrestleMania, because WrestlingNews.co is reporting that the plan is for Drew McIntyre to dethrone WWE Champion Brock Lesnar on the Grandest Stage of Them All.
From there, the plan is for McIntyre to serve as the face of RAW, and a number of post-WrestleMania feuds have already been discussed (including a program with the now heel Seth Rollins).
"Vince likes everything about him and thinks he represents the company well when he does media appearances," the site's source says of McIntyre. "He looks good and talks good and that is what Vince is looking for. Drew has already established a relationship with Vince like most top guys do."
Honestly, this makes a lot of sense, and it's said that WWE's plan is to now start telling the story of McIntyre's first run in the company, his subsequent release, and how he became what we see today.
