As one half of the New Age Outlaws and a member of D-Generation X, Road Dogg is definitely a WWE Legend. These days, he spends the vast majority of his time behind the camera as a producer in NXT (and someone who works closely with Triple H), but his wife recently took to social media to reveal that he'd suffered a heart attack.

Road Dogg, whose real name is Brian James, was hospitalised on Thursday night shortly after he returned home from working on the episode of NXT which took place the day before.

Now, his wife has returned to Facebook to share a positive update on her husband's condition.

"Wanna give everybody an update I just got the best birthday ever!!" she said. "My husband has no blockages and he’s getting to come home today we still have some doctor visits to take him to but his heart is good. Thank you all so much for all the prayers I do believe in that."

The fact James is able to return home is definitely good news, though he'll obviously need some time to recover. As a result, it's highly unlikely that he'll be part of the behind-the-scenes process for this week's NXT TakeOver: Stand & Deliver special. We'll keep you updated as we learn more.

In the meantime, get well soon, Road Dogg!
