For the past few days, there have been rumblings about Rey Mysterio and Andrade uniting to become a tag team. That would involve the latter turning babyface but Dave Meltzer has now revealed in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there's actually been talk of creating a three-man stable which would also include Sin Cara (once he returns from knee surgery in the coming weeks, that is).
WWE's hope is that Andrade could become their future Hispanic babyface star in the same way Eddie Guerrero was. They had the same plan for Alberto Del Rio but it didn't end up working out.
There's no word on what this means for Zelina Vega as we don't typically see babyface Superstars/stables with a manager but Vince McMahon is reportedly high on the pairing so that could mean they stay together, especially as there's something of a language barrier with Andrade when it comes to promos. As always, we'll be sure to keep you guys updated so be sure to stay tuned for more.
