It sounds like the WWE roster could be about to get a whole lot smaller. Apparently, there are a number of wrestlers on the main roster who are currently mulling over their options and the feeling within the company is that the bloated roster means that some mass releases are on the way regardless.

According to one WWE source, "people feel like the women are safe for the most part because they are still building that roster. But some of the guys know that they could be on the chopping block and they are looking at the lay of the land to and figuring out their strategy for their exit." One name who may be weighing up his option is said to be underutilised RAW star
Chad Gable.

One wrestler has already created a YouTube account and alternate social media accounts which he'll use if he's released by the company and it's said that Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks have made everyone realise that a strong social media presence is a must. With the Fox Sports/NBCUniversal deals now in the bag, if releases are coming, it's going to be at some point in the coming weeks.

Who do you think could end up leaving WWE? Do you think Chad Gable will have a brighter future on the independent scene? As always, share your thoughts in the comments section down below.
