Liv Morgan has really upped her game lately, and there are a lot of fans who would love to see her defeat Becky Lynch for the RAW Women's Championship on Monday. Unfortunately, with the Road to WrestleMania fast approaching, that seems unlikely; now, thanks to WrestlingNews.co, we know "The Man" is likely to retain her title.
They've received details on an upcoming WWE Live event that will take place in Madison Square Garden on December 26, and Lynch is scheduled to defend the championship against Bianca Belair.
Cards like this are always subject to change, of course, but the site notes that they "[were] told that as of right now, Lynch is also scheduled to defend her title WWE Day 1 in January." In other words, it's looking like the current champion will hold on to her title heading into WrestleMania season in 2022.
That's a shame, but here's hoping WWE does have big plans for Morgan. For now, you can check out the current card from the annual MSG event below:
Triple Threat Steel Cage Match for the WWE Championship
Big E vs. Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins

Also scheduled to be on the show: Randy Orton, Matt Riddle, Bobby Lashley, Finn Balor, AJ Styles, Omos, The Miz, Rey Mysterio, Damian Priest, Rhea Ripley, Queen Zelina, The Street Profits and more.
