Adam Page Has Reportedly Turned Down The Opportunity To Sign With WWE

There's been a lot of speculation about Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling star Adam Page making a deal with WWE but a new report claims that he's happy on the independent circuit with the Bullet Club.

Adam Page is one of the hottest independent wrestling stars on the planet right now and after delivering one heck of a performance at All In, it's no real surprise that WWE has been looking to scoop him up. Unfortunately, Dave Meltzer has now revealed on the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio that Page turned down WWE's offer because he's quite content with being part of the Bullet Club.

The group actually poked fun at this offer on the latest edition of Being The Elite as Page claimed that he was sent a part of boots with a note saying: "If you want to be an assassin, be more cerebral. – H."

There's nothing to say that Page won't end up in WWE somewhere down the line but with the independent scene so hot right now, wrestlers no longer need to set WWE as their goal because they can make a lot of money by themselves (ROH and NJPW pay pretty good too, of course). Are you disappointed by this news? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on that in the usual place!
