After Last Week's SUMMERSLAM Spike, WWE RAW Ratings Dipped Significantly On Monday

For the past few weeks, RAW has benefitted from SummerSlam to deliver higher than normal ratings. However, with that PPV now out of the way and football season on the horizon, the numbers are beginning to dip.

This week's RAW featured a lot of very interesting moments as Jeff Hardy became #1 contender for the Intercontinental Championship, Alexa Bliss won the RAW Women's Championship, and John Cena and Roman Reigns engaged in a war of words. However, while ratings were good for all of that, the numbers have indeed dropped from what they were for the post-SummerSlam RAW.

Last week's show did 3.4 million viewers but this week's dipped to 3.304 million. While that's not a significant drop, it's a sign that things are now on the decline for WWE as the numbers start returning to where they were before the event took place. Next week's RAW will be held on Labor Day and that should also mean a big drop, while the following week sees the return of the NFL.

As a result, RAW ratings could fall back to beneath 3 million but it will be interesting to see what WWE has planned in order to stop that from happening. Will you guys still be tuning in?
