The 2019 Royal Rumble PPV was very strong overall, with a couple of title changes and some big surprises. We'll be covering them in greater detail later on today, but for now let's talk about the winners of the Rumble matches themselves.
There were rumors that Becky Lynch would be pulling double-duty last night and entering the Women's Rumble in addition to facing Asuka for the SmackDown Women's Title, and that's exactly what happened.
Lynch tapped out to The Empress of Tomorrow in the first match of the night, but when Lana couldn't compete in the Rumble due to a sprained ankle suffered during Rusev's bout earlier on, "The Man" seized her opportunity and took The Ravishing Russian's place.
In the end, it came down to old frenemies Becky and Charlotte Flair. Despite Nia Jax injuring Lynch's knee, the mega-popular Irish Superstar ultimately prevailed when she managed to throw Flair over the top rope and knock her to the ground with a punch.
Who will Becky choose as her WrestleMania opponent? We think you already know the answer!
