AJ Styles Comments On Becoming A Grand Slam Champion In WWE After WRESTLEMANIA Victory

AJ Styles and Omos managed to defeat The New Day (Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods) during WrestleMania, but what you might not realise is that the Phenomenal One ended up making history at the Show of Shows. Now, Styles is officially a Grand Slam Champion in WWE.

Since his debut in 2016, Styles has had a great run, becoming a one-time Intercontinental Champion, three-time United States Champion, and most importantly, two-time WWE Champion.

Now, he's one half of the RAW Tag Team Champions.

In the video below, Styles is asked about the achievement and says: "Oh yes, this does make me a Grand Slam Champion. It’s time to go celebrate. I’ve got to give it to New Day, they almost kept me from tagging in this monster right here, my own personal colossus, Omos. It didn’t work, it didn’t happen, and when I did make the tag, this man – a man of men – showed what he was all about. I said he would destroy New Day and he did exactly that."

Omos was also asked what it meant to him to win a title in his first WWE match, and he offered an ominous warning. "It means, I mean what I say and I say what I mean. I am here to handle of the business and that was it." Styles added, "We have a lot more business to take care of, starting on Monday Night RAW."
