AJ Styles Just Hit Another Major Milestone With His WWE Championship Reign
The Phenomenal AJ Styles will defend his WWE Championship against Samoa Joe at Hell in a Cell later this month but he's just hit a major milestone with his reign and you can find all the details on that here...
As you can see below, WWE has revealed that after defeating Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship last November on an episode of SmackDown Live in London, England, AJ Styles has now reached the 300-day mark in his title reign. That means he's closing in on a year as champion and during that time he's feuded with the likes of Mahal, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Rusev.
He now joins the likes of Bruno Sammartino, Bob Backlund, Pedro Morales, Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Kevin Nash, John Cena, and CM Punk as the only men to have achieved that feat.
It's crazy to think that there was a time when fans couldn't even imagine Styles being in WWE and he's now both the face of SmackDown Live and one of the longest reigning WWE Champions of all-time. Will he drop the title to Samoa Joe at Hell in a Cell? That remains to be seen but should Joe fail to beat him, we could see the likes of Daniel Bryan or The Miz challenge him next.
