AJ Styles Vs. Shinsuke Nakamura At WWE BACKLASH Is Now A No Disqualification Match
Following the controversial end to their match at the Greatest Royal Rumble, it's been confirmed that their match at this Sunday's Backlash PPV will now be a no disqualification match so expect more low blows!
To kick off last night's episode of SmackDown Live, Paige announced that the WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura at Backlash will have a no disqualification stipulation. That means the King of Strong Style can reel off as many low blows as he likes, while The Phenomenal One will be able to get as violent as he likes while looking for revenge.
During last night's episode, Nakamura once again took Styles out with relative ease but will the third match in this series see Styles put his opponent down or is a new champion set to be crowned?
It would really hurt Nakamura's momentum if he were to lose here and a loss would also no doubt mean that Styles moves on to an entirely different feud. We'll just have to wait and see how things pan out at Backlash but it's fair to say that this is definitely the most intriguing match at this Sunday's PPV.
