AJ Styles is currently at the top of WWE as SmackDown Live's WWE Champion but he recently left wrestling fans everywhere fretting when he revealed that he's thinking of wrapping up his in-ring career.

During a recent interview, however, Styles made it clear that he intends on sticking around in WWE as long as possible and appears to have forgotten about retiring! "I don’t see why not if I can still do what I do. Like, if I can still be AJ Styles, then I would like to keep working in the WWE in a talent form, so as long as I can keep going, then I would like to keep working here."

As for what happens the day The Phenomenal One does decide to hang up his wrestling boots, Styles went on to make it clear that he would like to remain in WWE in any number of backstage roles.

"I think there is definitely going to be a time to just sit and chill with the family, but a guy like me just doesn’t sit
at at home, so I would like to get back on the road, either as an Agent, or more importantly, become a Trainer of some sort. Who knows what will be around in WWE by the time I retire. There may be a better job than that." So, he's clearly not going anywhere.

Styles turns 41 this summer but clearly still has plenty of gas left in the tank, so we clearly have plenty of time to enjoy the work of a man widely considered the best wrestler in the world.
