AJ Styles Will Face Jinder Mahal For The WWE Championship on Next Week's SMACKDOWN LIVE

Could big changes be coming to the Champion vs. Champion main event at Survivor Series? Despite AJ Styles being scheduled to face Rusev on Tuesday's SmackDown Live, he'll now take on Jinder Mahal for the title!

On this week's episode of SmackDown Live, Jinder Mahal brutally attacked AJ Styles after The Phenomenal One defeated another of the Singh Brothers and while Shane McMahon initially said that AJ would square off with Rusev next week to decide which one of them would represent the show at Survivor Series, a big change has now been made which could be a real game changer.

As you can see below, Styles will now face Jinder Mahal for the WWE Championship. If he wins, he'll go on to battle Brock Lesnar at the PPV; now that is what you call a must-see match!

Next Tuesday's SmackDown Live will be pre-taped but Styles winning the title would generate interest in the show and give the ratings a significant boost. It would also make Survivor Series a lot more exciting as WWE must realise that fans would rather see Styles vs. Lesnar! This feeling like a last-minute change by WWE also point to a championship changed, so stay tuned for updates...
