Akira Tozawa is the new 24/7 Champion after pinning R-Truth in Raw.
Truth was scheduled to face Tozawa in a singles match with the title on the line, but he made his way out to the ring while Nia Jax was cutting a promo on Charlotte and accused her of being the ninja in disguise (lol). Since Truth was partially responsible for Bobby Lashley losing his second opportunity at Drew McIntyre's WWE Championship last week, The Almighty seized the opportunity to rush the ring and put Truth down with his Full Nelson.
Akira, who had been hiding underneath the ring, simply covered an unconscious Truth to become the new 24/7, 7/11, I95, etc etc, champion.
So yeah, it looks like the ninja shit is here to stay. Vince McMahon clearly things it's hilarious to give an Asian Superstar this gimmick and have him pull exaggerated facial expressions, so that's what we're going to see until he gets bored and makes Akira Tozawa dress like Micky Rooney from Breakfast at Tiffany's.
