We've heard a lot of damning allegations about Alberto El Patron's relationship with Paige, and he's really not come out of that looking good. Now, though, he's decided to share his side of the story (to an extent, anyway), making a series of claims which turn things back on his ex-fiancée.
That's to be expected, of course, and while what he's saying could be 100% accurate, it's important to note that we're not doubting anything Paige has alleged regarding what she says happened to her. There are two sides to every story, though, and El Patron claims to have signed a $1 million confidentiality agreement with Paige...despite her only having $70,000 in the bank at the time.
"For this reason and also for the love, for the beginning, for the 2 parties, to protect them, we did it and signed a confidentiality agreement for $1 million," he says (via SportsKeeda). "After signing it, I found out that Paige didn't own a house, she didn't have a car, she didn't have more than $70,000 in the bank, and the one who really had to lose something was me."
El Patron says the reason he hasn't spoken out before now is that he wants his money to go to his children, while also revealing that Paige broke the agreement by talking about their relationship. Despite that, he's not going after her for the $1 million, and is seemingly sharing his side now because if they both speak out, then neither has to pay the other (it would be a little pointless if both were to exchange $1 million).
The former WWE Champion finished by alleging that Paige was the one arrested for assaulting him. "In that relationship between Paige and me, there was a person who was arrested 3 times in San Antonio, Las Vegas, and Orlando for domestic violence; it was not me. There is a person who has 6, 7 police reports for domestic violence in San Antonio."
Paige has yet to respond to any of these claims, but they're certainly pretty explosive. El Patron will appear in court next month after being indicted by a grand jury in October on four counts of sexual assault and one count of aggravated kidnapping (the case is unrelated to Paige).
