This week's episode of Monday Night Raw didn't really advance any storylines or set up anything for Super ShowDown next Thursday, but there was some pretty good in-ring action on display.
First, Aleister Black picked up a huge win over Erick Rowan in a hard-hitting bout. This is the first match Rowan has been involved in that wasn't a squash, so the fact that The Dutch Destroyer emerged victorious could be a sign that WWE is preparing to give him a big push in the buildup to WrestleMania.
Next up was Royal Rumble winner Drew McIntyre, who is now a full-blown, crowd interacting babyface. Honestly, it's taken some of the Scottish Psychopath's edge away. Anyway, he handed MVP another loss with a Claymore Kick.
Finally, Ricochet defeated The OC's Karl Anderson after a decent, but way too short encounter.
Anderson and Gallows really need to get some wins under their belts, because they are in serious danger of being known more for being AJ Styles' useless lackeys with entrance music that's way cooler than they are than for their stellar work in NJPW.
