For the past few weeks, we've seen Aleister Black appear in cryptic pre-taped promos, and the former NXT Champion finally made his presence felt during the main even of tonight's episode of SmackDown.

Apollo Crews defended his Intercontinental Championship against Big E, Sami Zayn, and Kevin Owens in a terrific fatal 4-way match to close out the show, All four men pulled out all the stops and came close to scoring a victory, but E looked set to reclaim the gold when a thick fog surrounded the ring and Black emerged.

Aleister entered the ring and delivered Black Mass to Big E, allowing Crews to cover his opponent and retain his title.

So, it looks like E is the person who needs to be taught a lesson Black has been referring to in his promos. We have no idea why the "Dark Father" would instruct Alesiter to attack the former New Day member and cost him the IC title, but it looks like we'll be seeing a feud between the two begin to build over the next couple of weeks.
