SmackDown Live kicked off with Shane McMahon announcing that Aleister Black, Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, and Ricochet would all compete throughout the course of the show.

Things kicked off with Black taking on Andrade and the two former NXT rivals delivered a killer performance before the former walked away with the win after hitting his patented Black Mass. The team
formerly known as DIY, meanwhile, took on The Bar and managed to pick up a big win over Sheamus and Cesaro thanks to a rollup.

Finally, Ricochet unexpectedly squared off with Sanity's Eric Young and got the 1-2-3 after hitting his incredible 630 Splash.

We don't know when these guys will move to the main roster on a permanent basis but they've certainly made an impact and this was a smart way to familiarise wrestling fans with them beforehand.
