During last night's episode of RAW, the new Women's Tag Team Champions - Natalya and Tamina - squared off with Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler. It was a competitive bout and one that ended with Alexa Bliss making her way out to the stage.
While the match continued, the former champs lost when a burst of flame shot up from one of the ring posts, blinded Reginald, and distracted Baszler long enough to ensure Natalya could score the pinfall victory. Bliss' laughter could be heard shortly after, a clear sign that she and "Lily" were involved somehow.
Now, it's clear that Bliss' first opponent when she returns to in-ring action (which is long overdue at this stage) will be Baszler, and it's easy to see why WWE would want Bray Wyatt's former partner to go over such a strong opponent. However, for Baszler, being involved in a supernatural angle with magic is a far cry from when she was booked as a legit threat in NXT due to her MMA background.
