Following this year's WrestleMania, Alexa Bliss was given Bray Wyatt's gimmick and, well, to say it fell flat when fans returned to WWE shows would be an understatement. It was fine for the ThunderDome era, but not necessarily something that worked with a live crowd (especially as the whole thing with magic and Lily the doll suffered from pretty horrendous booking).
After a brief feud with Charlotte Flair, Bliss was written off television following the Extreme Rules PPV. It was reported at the time she needed to undergo sinus surgery, and this came after WWE dropped a lot of hints that Bliss was planning to return to her old gimmick, minus any Fiend-ish inspiration. Considering Bray Wyatt has since been released, that does make sense.
Now, though, Bliss has issued a cryptic response in regards to her WWE future. As you can see below, she told a fan that she needs time to heal, something the former Women's Champion could mean literally and figuratively. Right now, it would make the most sense for Bliss to return at the Royal Rumble as that would get a huge response from fans at the stadium show.
Bliss hasn't wrestled much over the past couple of years due to concussion issues, so here's hoping Little Miss Bliss is able to get back into the ring on a regular basis once she does return to WWE.
