Metro UK recently caught up with WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss and talked to the former Women's Champion about a variety of topics. Among them was the fact she now works as a babyface in WWE, something which surprised a lot of fans after she spent years as a heel.
"It’s been very interesting, being the bad guy for six years and then all of a sudden being told, ‘Oh you’re a good guy,'" she said of the change. "So I’m definitely working on getting rid of those bad guy tendencies – it’s still in my nature to scream at the ref and throw a temper tantrum in the ring, but hopefully I can gear it towards another direction!"
Bliss also discussed what it's been like to work with Nikki Cross, and expressed her desire to get another shot at the Women's Tag Team Championships after they previously missed out on them.
"I would love for us to go for the tag team championships again," Bliss exclaimed. "We’re establishing the women’s tag division still, and there’s no better place to showcase the titles than at WrestleMania! I think our women’s tag division has some of the most talented women on the roster, you just don’t see that because the tag division is so new and it’s not getting as big of a spotlight. But it’s just a matter of time because the titles area so new, and I think WrestleMania is the perfect spotlight for it!"
It definitely doesn't feel like WWE is using Bliss to the best of her ability, but a series of injuries has seemingly put a halt to her receiving a significant push on SmackDown. With any luck, that will change in the not too distant future, but it's definitely interesting to hear her thoughts here.
