In what seems to be a pretty transparent bid to increase ratings, WWE has announced that next week's RAW will be a special reunion show featuring names like Hulk Hogan, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Kevin Nash, and Jerry "The King" Lawler.
However, we now know of one WWE legend who declined to appear: Jim Ross.
Apparently, All Elite Wrestling boss Tony Khan was reportedly fine with Ross appearing on RAW but he decided to turn Vince McMahon down when he was asked about coming back for one night only (he confirmed this during his "Grilling JR" show in Jacksonville, Florida).
Ross didn't explain why but you have to believe it's a combination of him being unhappy with how he was treated by WWE during his last run and his loyalties to AEW. There could be logistical reasons too, of course, but it's hard to escape the feeling that Ross definitely made the right decision.
