An Arena In Cincinnati Has Refused To Do Business With AEW Due To Existing Relationship With WWE

All Elite Wrestling is running into troubles in the Cincinnati area and seemingly finding it difficult to book a venue for an upcoming episode of Dynamite. According to Fightful Select, the company was looking to hold a show in former U.S. Bank Arena, the Heritage Bank Arena, but hey refused to do business with the popular promotion.

That's because they have a long existing relationship with WWE (it's the arena WWE always holds shows in while in the area). Whether WWE threatened to not return if they worked with AEW isn't clear, but this could prove to be a recurring problem for AEW moving forward.

It's said that Jon Moxley has pushed for AEW to run a show in his home area of Cincinnati, Ohio, but it looks like that's off the table for now (in the Heritage Bank Arena, anyway). Of course, this is unlikely to hurt the company too much and they're still managing to beat NXT on a weekly basis in terms of ratings!
