Rey Mysterio failed to regain the United States Championship last night on Raw after a brutal ladder match with Andrade.
The legendary luchador got off to a great start, using the ladder to inflict a lot of damage on his opponent. The former NXT Champion eventually gained the upper hand, however, and both men performed some vicious, highly risky spots that definitely left them feeling the effects this morning.
In the end, Rey manged to hit a 619 and almost got to the top of the ladder only to find Zelina Vega blocking his path. After a slap from Andrade's insurance policy, "El Idolo" was able to hit his Hammerlock DDT on Mysterio - through a ladder - and unhook the title.
After the match, Andrade attempted to inflict more damage on a prone Rey Rey, but the returning Humberto Carrillo made the save.
