United States Champion Andrade returns to WWE later this month after serving a 30-day suspension for his first violation of WWE's Wellness Policy. It was surprising that WWE decided against taking the title from him when that news broke, but we heard at the time that Paul Heyman had decided it was too soon to pull the trigger on Humberto Carrillo.
Now, Sports Illustrated is reporting that Andrade's days as champion could be numbered.
According to their sources, he's unlikely to make it to WrestleMania with the title and while that's not going to be on the line at Super ShowDown, it seems likely he could drop it either on RAW or during next month's Elimination Chamber PPV.
Whether this means he's set to be buried or WWE just has different plans remains to be seen.
