According to Alberto El Patron (better known as Alberto Del Rio in WWE), he will be Andrade's first post-WWE opponent. He confirmed the bout - which is set to take place at an event in McAllen, Texas, on July 31st - in a recent interview, and for many fans, this could definitely be considered a dream match.

"For the first time they are going to see what people on the Internet have been asking for, for a long time – Andrade against Alberto del Rio," the former WWE Champion said. "I don’t think we have ever seen a poster of such magnitude featuring two Mexican stars in Texas."

Andrade left WWE in February after requesting his release earlier in the year. El Patron is no stranger to falling out with the company as he's had two noteworthy runs, both of which have ended in him leaving over creative differences. Of course, he's also become something of a divisive figure in recent years after what was widely reported to be a toxic relationship with Paige.

He was also supposed to stand trial in San Antonio earlier this year on aggravated kidnapping and sexual assault charges, but the trial has now been pushed back to next month.

The event is also set to feature appearances from former WWE Superstars Kalisto, Primo, and Epico.
