Another Brock Lesnar Update Has Been Revealed And It Could Signal The End Of His WWE Run

Brock Lesnar is currently the Universal Champion but his WWE contract status remains very much in the air. Now, a new report sheds some light on what comes next for The Beast and it doesn't sound good.

We've been hearing a lot of conflicting reports about Brock Lesnar's WWE future but something everyone can seemingly agree on is that The Beast will be defending - and more than likely losing - the Universal Championship at SummerSlam in August. Now, a new report from Sports Illustrated's Justin Barrasso further confirms that but points to his title reign ending also ending his WWE career. 

"According to sources close to WWE, Lesnar is widely expected to drop the belt, at the latest, by SummerSlam. Because Lesnar’s new contract pays him by the fight, dropping the belt could signal the end of his time in WWE," he says. That last part is clearly speculation but it would make sense, especially as Lesnar has made no secret of his desire to make his UFC return this year.

We'll just have to wait and see who Lesnar ends up losing to but Seth Rollins has been rumoured and that would definitely be fun to see. Someone could also end up cashing in on the champion...
