According to Dave Meltzer, an announcement for Starrcade is expected as soon as this week. Once again, the show should be a WWE Network special and the planned date for it to take place is Saturday, November 30th (which means it should happen in Atlanta).

Starrcade was considered a signature event for the NWA for many years before WCW started using the name in the late 90s. In recent years, WWE has used it for these special house shows.

Honestly, it's a little surprising that WWE has chosen this date as it arguably would have made more sense for it to happen on November 9th as that would put it head to head with All Elite Wrestling's Full Gear PPV. It's possible, of course, that they have something else scheduled for that date.

We'll keep you guys updated.
