Multiple outlets are reporting that Mae Young Classic competitor Toni Storm sustained an injury during her recent NXT UK match against Rhea Ripley to crown the first ever UK Women's Champion.

Though this has yet to be confirmed by WWE, if the Aussie indie sensation has indeed suffered an injury, it could have a significant impact on the upcoming Evolution PPV.

As previously reported, Storm made it to the finals of the 2018 Mae Young Classic and is set to face Io Shirai to determine the winner of the tournament at the all-women's event in October.

With any luck Toni will be ready to return to action by then. We'll keep you guys updated on the situation.
