AOP's Akam Has Reportedly Suffered A Leg Injury And Could Be Out Of Action For Months

If you're wondering why we haven't seen The AOP on Raw for a while, it's probably because Akam is on the shelf. The Superstars reportedly suffered a leg injury recently, and could be out of action for a while.

It looks like The Authors of Pain's Akam has gone down with an injury.

We don't have many details, but on the latest episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reveals that the Raw Superstar has suffered a leg injury and is expected to be on the shelf for a few months.

The AOP recently lost the Raw Tag-Team Champions to Bobby Roode and Chad Gable before disappearing from TV, and now we know why.

Akam and his partner Rezar were a devastating force in NXT, but, as is often the case, the team hasn't really been given a chance to shine to their full potential on the main roster. Hopefully that changes when Akam is cleared to return to action.
