Apollo Crews Admits That He's Not Happy With His Current Position In WWE

Apollo Crews made quite a splash in NXT but he's done little to nothing since arriving on the main roster. Now, after his losing effort in the King of the Ring tournament, he's admitted to being unhappy.

Apollo Crews recently spoke with The Wrap about the King of the Ring tournament (which he was knocked out of during last night's SmackDown Live when he was defeated by Andrade). The interview took place before that and Crews opened up about his current position in WWE.

"I wanted to come in here and shock the world, I guess you could say," he revealed. "I felt like I would have done much more at this moment in my career. But I'm still young — I'm about to be 32 in a couple of days — and there's still a lot of time. I'm still very patient and understanding in how the process works. I trust the process."

That's a positive attitude to take but it can't be easy for Crews to be stuck where he is on the card. However, with NXT coming to the USA Network, there may be a place for him on that show instead.

Crews was also asked if he believes the King of the Ring tournament is diminished by being on TV rather than a PPV. "No, I don't think anything's diminished at all," Crews said. "First of all, the talent that we have, in my opinion, I think it's the greatest roster of all time as far as talent goes."

What do you guys think?
