While it's previously been reported that Alexa Bliss and Nia Jax are actually good friends, it now appears as if that may be over. Last month, it was revealed that Jax has some backstage heat with WWE management for making fun of Bliss' new "I Am Enough" tattoo which references her battles with anorexia and it was said at the time that it may have been a result of real-life issues between them.
Prior to that Tweet, both women unfollowed each other on social media and Jax actually liked a negative post from a fan about Bliss on Instagram. So, is this all for storyline purposes or actually legit?
Well, according to Dave Meltzer, "Nia has real-life heat. So this is not a work. This has nothing to do with Total Divas." What happened between these two to cause this is hard to say but WWE clearly feels comfortable still booking them in matches like at Extreme Rules this month (then again, there are plenty of wrestlers who work with each other despite not getting on behind the scenes).
If Jax does have backstage heat, though, it will be very interesting seeing how she's booked at the upcoming PPV and if Bliss ends up easily defeating her before Ronda Rousey inevitably interferes...
