Asuka Defeats Bayley On RAW To Earn Another Shot At Sasha Banks' Title At SUMMERSLAM

Asuka earned another opportunity to regain the Raw Women's Championship on this week's episode of the red brand by defeating the SmackDown Women's Champion in a terrific singles bout.

Last week, Sasha Banks told The Empress of Tomorrow that she'd get a shot at her title at the pay-per-view if she could get past Bayley, and the vengeful Kabuki Warrior did just that.

Asuka came out all guns blazing after what Bayley did to Kairi Sane last week, and although the Role Model put up a great fight, the Japanese Superstar was able to overcome the presence of The Boss at ringside and counter Bayley's finisher (Michael Cole calls it "face first into the mat," but we're sure she has a name for it) into the Asuka Lock to force the tap-out victory.

While it seems highly unlikely that Asuka will regain the Raw Women's Championship at SummerSlam, the prospect of another awesome match with Banks is one worth getting very excited about.
