Asuka Is The New SMACKDOWN Women's Champion After Historic TLC Triple-Threat Match

Becky Lynch may be "The Man," but Asuka is the new SmackDown LIVE Women's Champion after climbing the ladder to retrieve the title during a vicious TLC triple-threat main event. More past the jump...

Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair and Asuka made history tonight by main eventing the TLC PPV in the first ever women's triple-threat Tables, Ladders and Chairs match, and it did not disappoint.

All three women took some heavy hits, and we didn't think Flair was going to be able to continue at one point after Lynch came down hard on her stomach from the top of a ladder (see the vid below), but she recovered and set up the steel for the go-home spot.

In the end, Charlotte and Becky were trading blows at the top of a ladder when Ronda Rousey came to the ring and knocked them both to the ground. This allowed The Empress of Tomorrow to ascend the ladder and retrieve the title to become the new champ.

Bad news for Becky, but this opens the door for "The Man" to enter and possibly win the Royal Rumble before going on to face Rousey at WrestleMania.

What did you guys think of TLC? Drop us a comment down below.
