The first ever women's Royal Rumble match closed out a pretty damn awesome show tonight, and, as many expected she would, The Empress of Tomorrow emerged victories. Find out how it all went down after the jump.

It seems nobody was ready for Asuka.

After a very impressive first-ever women's Royal Rumble match, the undefeated RAW Superstar outlasted 29 other ladies to emerge victorious.

In the end it came down to The Empress of Tomorrow, both Bella Twins and Sasha Banks (after The Boss eliminated Bayley, possibly signifying a heel turn), but when Asuka and Nikki found themselves in a precarious position on the ring apron, the former kicked The Fearless One's legs from under her to win the match.

Afterwards, SmackDown women's champ Charlotte Flair and RAW women's champ Alexa Bliss joined her in the ring, but before Asuka could announce which one she'd be facing at 'Mania... well, click here for more!
