Asuka Will Face James Ellsworth In A Lumberjack Match Next Week On SMACKDOWN LIVE

James Ellsworth and the Empress of Tomorrow has a one-on-one match tonight on SmackDown LIVE, but after it ended in shenanigans, a lumberjack match was made for next week's show. More past the jump...

Asuka did get her hands (and feet) on James Ellsworth during tonight's episode of SmackDown, but only very briefly.

After taking a few stiff shots, Ellsworth ended up bailing through the crowd and both Superstars were counted out. However, when The Empress chased her opponent back to the ring, Carmella was waiting to lay out her nemesis.

As a result, a lumberjack match was made for next week, which means the chinless wonder can't run away.

It is interesting that WWE is once again rolling out these inter-gender matches, but is this really the best use of Asuka's time?
