Kairi Sane replaced fellow Kabuki Warrior Asuka in her match against Shayna Baszler on Raw last night because The Empress of Tomorrow reportedly suffered a sprained wrist, but we're now hearing that the injury may be a work.

Talk Sport's Alex McCarthy sent out the following Tweet:

If true, this was likely done to hold off on having Asuka face Shayna Baszler for a later date, as that's a match worth building towards with a proper feud.

The Queen of Spades is expected to win the Elimination Chamber match this Sunday and go on to face Becky Lynch at WrestleMania, but Asuka could well be in line to be her next opponent - whether it's for the Raw Women's Championship or not.
