AVENGERS Star Chris Hemsworth Will Play The Legendary Hulk Hogan In A New Netflix Biopic

The legendary Hulk Hogan will be the focus of a new Netflix film from director Todd Philips (The Hangover, Joker), and THR reports that the iconic WWE Superstar will be played by none other than Chris Hemsworth (Thor, Avengers: Endgame).

The movie will focus on the early life of Hogan, real name Terry Gene Bollea, and chart his rise to prominence in WWE and beyond. In other words, it won't be going hear any of that sex tape/N-word controversy that's plagued the Hulkster in recent years.

The project also has Todd and Hensworth on board as producers, along with Michael Sugar, Bradley Cooper, and former WCW promoter Eric Bischoff.
