BACKLASH: Roman Reigns Main Evented Another PPV Last Night And It Ended Exactly As You'd Expect

Despite there not being a Universal Championship match at last night's Backlash PPV, AJ Styles vs. Shinsuke Nakamura was bumped down the card in preference of Roman Reigns vs. Samoa Joe headlining the event.

Backlash was a pretty underwhelming event overall but if you need further proof that WWE still doesn't realise that its Roman Reigns experiment has been a total failure, look no further than the fact The Big Dog headlined yet another PPV last night as he took on Samoa Joe in the main event slot.

However, for those of you hoping that Joe might win to lend him some credibility as he takes aim at Styles' WWE Championship, guess again because Reigns managed to win the bout with a spear!

That was despite Joe putting him through a table before the match started and the signs are all pointing to Reigns remaining the challenger for Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship and ultimately being the one who dethrones The Beast. Were you disappointed with how this match played out?
