Cathy Kelley has quickly become a fan-favourite backstage interviewer in WWE and, unsurprisingly, has ambitions to expand her role in the company.

In a new interview, Kelley made it clear that she intends to remain in the world of professional wrestling and WWE for the foreseeable future; however, she'd like to eventually transition into a managerial position, echoing recently departed ring announcer Samantha Irvin's dashed hopes.

She'd hoped to do more than introduce WWE Superstars as they made their way to the ring but was so good in that role, WWE wasn't on board with the idea of having her do anything else. Could things pan out differently for Kelley?

"I would definitely be open to managing if it is the right pairing," she says in the video below. "That is something that I would love to grow into, whether that’s, you know, tomorrow, whether that’s a decade down the line."

Kelley added, "I do really see myself involved in WWE, in wrestling, in some way throughout my entire career...I have a couple of things outside of WWE that I’m very excited for, that I don’t know that I can share yet, but I will be posting them on my socials."

In the same interview, Kelly named two NXT Superstars she believes will become huge stars when they're brought to the main roster. "I would say it is an absolute tie for me between Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade," the RAW broadcast team member noted before sharing her take on who's likely to win the newly introduced Women's United States Championship.

"I'm gonna say Chelsea Green because I think she's gonna be mad at me if I don't," Kelley joked before getting serious to praise WWE's impressive Women's Division. "We really are just so lucky to have [an] amazingly talented group of women," she added.
