According to a report from Pro Wrestling Sheet, backstage interview Dasha Fuentes has been released by WWE. There was some speculation that might be the case after her profile was removed from WWE.com and she's seemingly confirmed the news on Instagram in a Story which saw her talking about it being "an interesting couple of days."

The reason for her release isn't known but WWE might just want to freshen things up as we've seen a few different interviewers backstage in recent weeks.

Fuentes signed with WWE in 2014 and wrestled at a live event for NXT in April 2015. However, she was quickly transitioned into a backstage role and was moved up to the main roster after working in the developmental brand for a while.

Backstage interviews can find success in WWE (look at Renee Young) but it's common for the company to only use someone for a few years before they're replaced.
