Things did not go particularly well for Brock Lesnar when he came to blows with Braun Strowman on RAW this past Monday and now some new details have been revealed about where WWE - initially - planned on going with the feud as these two behemoths get ready to clash at the No Mercy PPV on September 25th.
According to Dave Meltzer, WWE's original plan was for Lesnar to retain the Universal Championship but it's since become unclear whether or not that's going to remain the case.
That leaves us with some doubt heading into the PPV as to whether or not Lesnar will remain champion but it's also been confirmed that The Beast will not be making an appearance on next week's RAW. He did shoot some material that's going to air on the show but won't be there in person. Strowman, however, will be.
