There's been a lot of speculation about what WWE Chairman Vince McMahon was doing at the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida, with some outlets reporting that he was there to scout talent ahead of the upcoming Draft (which is expected to take place later this summer).
Now, PWInsider has confirmed that WWE President & Chief Revenue Officer Nick Khan, Executive Director of RAW & SmackDown Bruce Prichard, and Senior Vice President of Talent Relations John Laurinaitis were all with Vince today for this visit, with the group spending most of their time meeting with staff and scouting talents while the trained.
Apparently, the visit has been described by insiders as "very much a positive day."
That's the good news, but the bad news is that more employees have been let go in WWE Headquarters in Stamford, CT. There's no word on how many people have been released (or who they are for that matter), but this was expected as Khan continues to restructure the company to save money.
As of right now, it sounds like WWE may be finished releasing wrestlers, though there's still a lot of speculation that those NXT UK Superstars could be next to go after the 205 Live roster was purged.
Keep checking back here for updates as we have them.
